PREPARATION


Dissolve sugar in water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is golden


DO NOT STIR AT ALL OR YOUR SUGAR WATER WILL BREAK


When the sugar is golden, remove from heat. CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY, add the whipping cream a little at a time


Once all of the cream is added, stir over medium heat until combined


Let cool


Serve at room temperature over ice cream


Store in refrigerator
